T.I.G.F (This Is Garden Food) has quickly become a beloved dining spot in Port St. Joe, FL, known for its earthy and thoughtfully prepared dishes. Customers rave about the flavors, especially the expertly crafted vegan salad, which is packed with plant proteins and herbal notes. The truffle burger and homemade fries are frequently highlighted as standout items, with many declaring it the best burger in town.
The warm, inviting atmosphere enhances the dining experience, making it a perfect spot for families, as noted by one traveler who appreciated the play area for children. Visitors have praised the homemade lemonade and freshly made salad dressings, designed to tantalize the palate with a hint of citrus. However, it’s worth noting that some items, like the raclette cheese, can be hit or miss, depending on availability.
The couple behind the restaurant, Natasha and her husband, pour their hearts into every meal, creating a true chef-driven experience that feels personal and cozy. As many reviewers have expressed, this hidden gem is not to be overlooked, especially considering the quality of food compared to pricier options in the area. Excellent falafels. Very good vegan salad, full of plant proteins. Mushroom burger was small but tasty. They were out of the raclette cheese for the burger, disappointing ! Fries were crispy. Limonade seems homemade. We missed the homemade croissants that are made only on Sunday sounds delicious ! The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended

Everything was amazing. During the whole week I visited this area this was definitely the top two restaurants. Service was wonderful, atmosphere great, and food was amazing. Only regret I had was not getting to try more things on the menu

Natasha and her husband do an amazing job across the board! The food is always fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and very very tasty! My wife Hailey and I love this place for both lunch and dinner. I have to say if you are a burger fan their burgers are the BEST in Port Saint Joe. The truffle burger is so AMAZING! Plus their French fries are on point.

I eat here regularly. Lunch and the special dinners. Sometimes you have to be a little patient because its a husband/wife operation and runs very smoothly and well worth the few extra minutes. Hands down the absolute best burger in town, bar none. I can't eat bread but love the French Fries and my favorite the Vegan Salad with so many different little things in it and their homemade dressing which is delicious but hard to describe. Very earthy and maybe some lemon in there. Great wine selection. Beers too.

We spent the past week in Port St. Joe on vacation. When I say just go ahead and skip these expensive dinner choices and go here, I mean it. We spent over 200 the night before for mediocre at best food from one of the most highly rated “fancy” places in town. The best food we had was right in the heart of downtown. Immediately this place had a warm feel, nice smooth music, a play area for my daughter, and most importantly a warm welcome from the staff. The baked Brie & calamari was divine, I immediately noticed the love and admiration put into the food here. I had the salmon dinner special and the others had pasta dishes. The salad served out first had the most delicious dressing I have ever had tossed into fresh mixed greens. This is real chef curated love infused food. I couldn’t say enough good things about any of it, you’re missing out if you skip this hidden gem.

T.I.G.F. elevates the humble hamburger to a gourmet experience! Wish we had paid attention to all the 5 star reviews sooner. In an unlikely spot a block off of Reid Avenue in modest digs, T.I.G.F. has clearly been able to thrive on the talent of its chef and the exceptional quality of its food. We were there for lunch, and my wife ordered the Vegan Salad. She loved it – – fresh, tasty and filling. My choice, Le Raclette, was served up with perfect fries and a simple but nicely-dressed salad. It was the best tasting burger I've had in forever, with a tender patty and gooey Swiss Raclette cheese that added a special yummy-ness. Needless to say, I highly recommend T.I.G.F., and we are looking forward to enjoying dinner there very soon.

We came here for dinner with local friend who we stayed with... and I will say the burgers were delicious. The owners treated us well and we enjoyed dinner. One of my favorite thing (besides the burger and fries of course) was that the place had games and a kids center for my kids to play while they wait for their food. If you are a parent, you know how it is sitting at the dinner table with your kids who are energized and what to do something. I highly recommend this place. Just make sure you make reservations before you come. It is a small joint so please be patient. You will not regret it. Thank you for the amazing dinner. Definitely coming back to try to other burgers on the menu.

A friend who lives in Port St Joe recommended TIGF to us.. After entering I found it spacious and warm. There is not a lot of seating which is nice. This is your typical quaint European restaurant with amazing food. My wife and I had the chicken panini with salad and a side of fries. For dinner we had the lasagna. This will be a regular stop for lunch and dinner for sure. Highly recommend!!!
